Natural Evolution

“I began this business 15 years ago, growing it from an inventory side project. Back in 2009 we started with LR3s and Discovery 2s. As more D2s needed engines because of slipped liners, we started rebuilding trucks with new engines.

The blocks were tested first and if they’d pass, they would receive Darton top hat liners. After that, we asked ourselves “what if we go ahead and steel bumper them and add a winch and lift them?” Thus, Harpeth Rovers was born.

Now we’re into LR4 and L322 Range Rover era with a higher level of focus and offering more bespoke enhancements for commissioned owner builds.”

Got Questions?

  • We first asses the trucks condition and then perform all needed repairs and updates to bring that Land Rover back up to daily usability. Depending on the model that investment can be from $3500-$13000 pretty regularly. Expanding the truck into a further bespoke creation is more open ended on cost expectations.

  • Once we have the obvious repairs completed, each Harpeth Rover offering gets driven for 500-1000 miles. Changes in temperature, interstate speed testing are all part of making sure each truck meets our stringent expectations. They can take from 2-4 months to complete and pass inspection before going to the new owner.

  • Yes, we have a network of trusted Land Rover sellers and hunters that are intimately knowledgeable of the brand. We can also access new Land Rover vehicles for you. Give us a call at 615.686.4656
