Turning Point
Harpeth Rovers was born of my 30 year tenure in the car business and repeated interest in Land Rovers and putting them on larger tires with a suspension lift. Back in 2013 we built a series of Discovery 2 trucks with D&D prepared blocks featuring Darton sleeves and 1500 tank testing before anything. These trucks had paint to match steel bumpers, Old Man Emu suspension lifts and on and on.
That was when the idea of making these trucks most of our for sale inventory was born. We have now evolved into offering more finished trucks than ever before. It takes time to dial these trucks' needs to my personal expectations. They are driven on extended drives and daily used before being offered for sale. Land Rovers for those that want to drive a modern classic without feeling like they are in “an old car”. We cherish the original style of these trucks and do our best to retain and improve those aspects.
